Celendín is located between Cajamarca and Chachapoyas. Cajamarca can be reached by land or by plane. Celendín and Chachapoyas can just be reached by land. From the coast to Cajamarca the road is paved. From Cajamarca there only is an unpaved road, but the politicians have promised to have it paved all the way to Celendín. AQt the end of next year (2008) it should be finished. The Northern route (Chiclayo- Bagua) to Chachapoyas is almost completely paved. Below you will find the bus schedules for the public tranportation between Cajamarca and Celendín and Celendín and Chachapoyas. We will try to keep it as up-to-date as possible, but we cannot be held responsable for errors. Sometimes last-minute changes are made (especially the bus between Chachapoyas and Celendín...).
