You arrived at the homepage of Celendín, a small city in the Northern Andes of Peru, in the department of Cajamarca.
In this homepage we want to give tourist information about Celendín and Northern Peru in general. We start with basic information, but little by little we want to let the homepage grow to an important site of information not yet offered.
It's a pity and a miracle at the same time, that Celendín until now still isn't discovered by tourists, because it's a beautiful place full of tradtions, these days hard to find. And easy to combine with other tourist sites, because it's on the way from Cajamarca to Chachapoyas. The tourists that travel by public transport have to change buses in Celendín, and it's worth it to stay there just a couple of days before continuing the trip.
