You arrived at the homepage of Celendín, a small city in the Northern Andes of Peru, in the department of Cajamarca.In this homepage we want to give tourist information about Celendín, the city and the province.

Celendín still stays almost undiscovered by tourists, fortunately, because this way it can stay authentic and traditional. A visit is easy to combine with other tourist sites, because it's on the way from Cajamarca to Chachapoyas. The tourists that travel by public transport can change buses in Celendín, and it's worth it to stay there just a couple of days before continuing the trip.
